Successful First-Year AGM and Formation of Management Corporation (MC) Amidst COVID-19

Our Property Management team under Firdaus & Associates Property Management Services (FAPMS)successfully organised the First Annual General Meeting (AGM) for a low-cost strata development, marking the important milestone of forming the property’s Management Corporation (MC) — all while operating under strict COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Held during one of the most challenging periods for community and property management operations, the AGM was a testament to our team’s professionalism, careful planning, and commitment to safety and compliance. Every aspect of the meeting was meticulously managed — from pre-registration and check-in, to verification, voting, and the formal election of the MC committee members — ensuring a smooth and transparent process throughout.

Strict health and safety measures were implemented, including spaced seating arrangements, mandatory face masks, temperature checks, and readily available hand sanitisers at all entry points. Despite the constraints, attendance was encouraging, and residents cooperated positively in support of forming their own Management Corporation — a key step toward achieving self-governance and sustainable management of their community.

The event concluded successfully with the official formation of the MC, which will now take over the day-to-day management and decision-making responsibilities of the property, guided by the professional support and advice of our FAPMS team.

Our Group Managing Director, YBhg Datuk Sr Firdaus Musa, commended the team for their dedication and adaptability, noting that this achievement reflects the Group’s ability to deliver professional service under even the most demanding conditions.

This AGM not only symbolises progress for the residents but also demonstrates the commitment of FAPMS to uphold its mission — providing professional, ethical, and community-focused property management that enhances the lives of those we serve.
