Sr Prem Kumar is a full-fledged property consultant and has been actively involved in the property industry for the last 37 years. He started his career as a valuation executive with Jones Lang Wootton(JLW) in 1987 and became a shareholder of the same firm in 1998. He gained vast experience throughout his career in all aspects of property consultancy and advisory services such as valuation, estate agency, property management and research and consultancy and provided advice on numerous flagship developments for both local and foreign high-profile entities. He was also the Director and Team Leader for the valuation team at JLW which won the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor(RICS)’s award for the best valuation team in Southeast Asia for year 2021. Sr Prem Kumar was involved in the corporate environment when he was appointed as the Managing Director(Marketing & Sales) in 2022 for Tropicana Corporation Berhad and subsequently as an Independent Non-Executive Director in I-Berhad.

Sr Prem Kumar holds an honours degree in Property Management(1987) together with a Diploma in Valuation(1985) from the University of Technology Malaysia and was awarded the best student gold medal for both. He is a registered valuer, estate agent and property manager with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia(BOVAEP) and also a registered valuer with RICS. Through his immense contributions to the real estate profession, he was accorded fellowship status by the RICS, Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia(RISM), Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in Private Sector, Malaysia(PEPS) and Malaysian Institute of Professional Property and Facility Managers(MIPFM).
